Dr. Richard Turner is the founder and owner of All Creatures Veterinary Emergency Clinic. He graduated from University of California Davis in June of 1976. He first began practicing at Desert View Animal Hospital in Rancho Mirage, California near Palm Springs. He then moved to the Central Valley and began work at Walker Animal Hospital in Stockton, California for about 2 years then went to work at Modesto Emergency Clinic for 1 ½ years. At Modesto Emergency Clinic he would pull 1 week on, 1 week off shifts. He then decided to open up his own practice, Arbor Pet Clinic in Lodi, California. Dr. Richard Turner has now been in practice for 42 years.

About 4 years ago he opened All Creatures Veterinary Emergency. He wanted to open up an emergency clinic that would care for and treat all of God’s creatures, including wildlife. He also wanted a clinic that would keep prices fair and affordable with work with clients within their financial capabilities to help save lives.

At his day time practice, Arbor Pet Clinic; he has taken care of a large variety of animals including Dogs and cats, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, Tigers, Bob Cats, Serval, Savannah Cats, bears, elephants, tarantulas, zebras and other zoo animals. He also works on Primates such as the baboons from the movie Evan Almighty, Rock of ages Staring Katherine Zeta Jones at Arbor Pet Clinic. He was on the Today Show and MSNBC for a root canal on a 650 pound white Siberian Tiger.
